Quick question:  Is 1 Air Movements Squadron in Winnipeg (formerly Edmonton) still an active unit or has it been disbanded?  And what about any of the other movements units outside 2 AMS in Trenton?

And D Company of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment.  As soon as the armoury was declared surplus, D Company was stood down and C Company stood up in Welland.

I would suspect "A" Company of the Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment; they were shifted from Renfrew to Pembroke in 1970 according to The Canadian Militia.

Yes, I'm aware of this website; it actually helps out in my writing when I involve units of the CAF past and present.  And yes, I'm also waiting for the website to bring out links to older ships that have been decommissioned . . . but given the mass revamp of the whole DND website, that won't...

Damn!  Called it right! Then again, it is a simple thing to do with next to no cost at all to the taxpayers. Except for when they have to make the big war ensigns ships love to fly when they're at seas; the types that could drape over half the flight deck of a Halifax-class ship.
