Curious to know what the Night Vision (not the kind that takes batteries) requirment is for the CF? It is not listed on the Vision Catagory as a criteria, but it is listed on the LASIK/PRK (Refractive Surgery) post op form.
More specifically, I am curious to know if recruits who go through with...
Funny... I applied last July and will be Merit listed for my trade as of April 22nd. (My application's pending until then due to LASIK wait times), and every time I've been in contact with the RC, they have referred to my trade as "Sig Op" and not ACISS. I've even slipped a few ACISS references...
Hey Waters81, just a thought.... you said you were in the construction biz yeah? If you're looking for volunteer work, maybe a "Habitat for humanity" type build would be a good match for your experience. I've definitely seen stuff like that in the past. I would imagine that that's gotta look...

I have a diploma in Sound Engineering and the first they tell you is to go get your hearing checked.... and then to keep getting it checked on regular intervals, as in that profession, your ears are your bread and butter.
Needless to say, I've been through quite a few hearing tests, including...
With a population of 380 mil + vs. our 34 (ish) mil, they still have long way to go I would think. Unless your talking on a per capita rate.
As for CCW and all of that.... meh. Its Canada. Say what you want, its still a "safe" place to live. I've lived in a lot of S&@% holes and it makes me...
