Reccesoldier, I'm afraid you're a bit confused.. the CIC is its own part of the ResF, and is seperate and distinct from the PRes.  That said, they can still (and do) work Class B contracts like the rest of the ResF.

Yes, Sapper, I understand that is how you feel about the situation, but what I'm stating is the reality.  Would you be on board for pan ResF pay raises if you knew it was pan ResF?

Not a different kettle of fish, and I'm not starting anything.  It is a legitimate comment, and question. The CIC is part of the ResF.  They would be included in any acts amending the ResF pay structure.

So I'm correct that the CG BMQ begins in May, with the Intensive Drill Period being from the end of that BMQ until the commencement of public duties?

I understand fully that a hard mentality is requisite, believe me, I do.  It must also come with extreme professionalism, and extreme discipline.  I am only referencing the documentary as it relates to the Marines and their training, in that I felt that sometimes the indoctrination exceeded...

I know what duty drivers do (I think?), but any idea of what the day-to-day is like?  I imagine it'd be ferrying Officers and Sr. NCOs about, no?

Just out of curiosity - are those in supporting roles re-badged?  I know it is the norm (as far as I've personally seen) for drivers (et al.) to be badged as soldiers in the regiment.  Does this mean that if I am a driver for the summer, I'll be GGFG or CGG?  Just curious!
