How do they select the people to be members of the recce detatchment?

Although I do agree the army cadets do have a good program, but now a days there isn't too much of a difference between the army, sea and air cadets...so the only real difference is the field training, summer courses and the uniforms you all wear

Just wondering, I know that infantry Regiments have a recce detatchment, but do engineer regiments, and armoured regiments have recce detatchments aswell? and if so how do they select the soldiers to be in that detachment? :cdn:

That is a very nice looking weapon, just one question...how did you get the cadpat design onto the rifle? did you paint it on or sned in the parts to be professionally done?

Hey thanks for the input, so the engineer trades course is called the QL3 then?

Do D&C, i did Adventure, not bashing it or anything the canoe trip is fun so is the patrolling ex but they changed around the whole Adventure course, and its not too adventurous, go with D&C you still get to spend time in the field but sharpen up you drill as well

I believe he was promoted to Lt. at our christmas dinner a few weeks ago, I'm not exactly sure because I'm new there but I'm pretty sure it was him, if that helps ya at all

Just wondering out of curiousity, just what some of the cadets will do when they get the choice

I'm new to the Engineer Regiment, and was wondering what the training is like for reserves over the summer, like PT wise and learning about how to use the engineer equipment and such, if you guy or girls could help explain to me just what happens over the summer, that would be great!

Why exactly did we lose the title of Royal? it may be  kind of stupid question, but I'm a new member to the forces and was just wondering...

Ya the 31 CER has come to waterloo, the facility is still being built, but is coming along. I just got in not too long ago, haven't gone on FTX's but its pretty interesting and should be a good time, I start on course in the new year...
