    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

HAHAAHAHA yeah I agree with that. Most applicants who fail for pilot just go for ACSO in my experience.

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

Maybe it's just this forum specifically but there seems to be a lot of people interested in AEC, AEC is apparently one of the less popular trades but I guess things are different this year. Only 12 spots for AEC this year.....

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

If you're an average applicant, your odds are difficult to calculate. If you're in the higher range of that average area, you may receive a last minute offer. My recruiter said I was "competitive" but even that can't promise me a spot since there are such little spots. Our military funding is tiny.

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

They told you you've been merit listed already? When did you have your interview? The only thing they told me was my weakness was the fact that I didn't have noticable work experience, they told me that if I get rejected, get some work expeirence and university and try again next year. I was...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

Just completed my one day processing, consisting of CFAT, interview and medical. Applied for Pilot, Aerospace Control Officer and Aerospace Engineering Officer. Anyone else apply for these? My CFAT score was "above average" and I was told that I "did very well" on your interview. I feel that I...

Marks / Grades: School / GED or PLAR [MERGED]

Hi guys, just a quick question. I was asking my recruiter/ friends about this, and got mixed answers. When RMC is calculating your average, I was told that they calculate your average from grade 10~12 and then average it. so if your average throughout these grades were: 90 , 86, 86, it would be...

    "The" Essay (merged)

This is also one way to look at it. The topic of the essay is something along the lines of: Why do you want to attend the listed Academic institution?" The instructions were not: " Why are you a better candidate than the others?" They never specified: Because I'm good at this and this. I want...

    "The" Essay (merged)

Yeah, I suppose it depends on your point of view. I get what you mean though, I don't think there is a definitive answer as everyone will write differenetly and the different readers will also think differently. The thing I was thinking more about was that they are looking for unique people. If...

    "The" Essay (merged)

I personally find that narrative essays are much more creative and shows character. Sure you can write your average essay trying to sell yourself and show off to the reader. But I find that extremely dull and boring. Show them that you are different, show them that you have character. Write a...

Haha, yeah. I've been able to manage a constant low A average, which is a relief. These guys really like consistency, they don't want someone who will perform well only when they need to do well. Shows work habits very well.

If you are still curious, judging from your activities you are decent. Your grades however will be your downfall. Keep up the activities and improve your grades a lot. I'm talking above 80% at the least to stand a chance. They look at your grades starting from grade 10~12, as they look for...

    Wait times and Holidays?

When did you start your application process? I'm getting ready to get mine in this week. From the looks of what you are saying, this week is the final week before the CFRC closes for the holidays. Thanks, I hope getting in now won't effect my application. (I don't have to ge pilot.)
