I think their bigger concern was letting the Ukrainians get their kit dry. The issues really changed some opinions of the British for a lot of my peers.
A few guys I know on unifier had to fight to get the Ukranians decent accommodations, with heating at night, in the UK. Apparently thats not considered normal.

What's actually funny is the people wrapping their heads in knots coming up with altruistic reasons for this while Trump is at least being fully honest that this is 100 percent about controlling their oil.
Libya wasn't unilateral, wasn't preceded by the US executing alleged drug smugglers with hell fires, was actively murdering its own population, and wasn't being justified by claims of stolen oil.
People in Canada are generally opposed to Trump, and probably have some serious concerns when it comes to the US not respecting the sovereignty of its neighbours after releasing a policy document claiming the Americas as its sphere of influence.
