Liberals Want Injured to Keep Getting Danger Pay Back in Canada

Gap asked a legitimate question and he deserves an answer instead of all this drama.  Soldiers with injuries that resulted in some disability but were still capable of serving were assessed and given either a lump sum or a monthly pension for the determined amount of disability.  This was...

Enhanced Reliability Check (ERC) - Merged

They have determined that you are sitable.  That is all.  They will not invest the time and resources to do the background check until you are found suitable.  The fact that you were in Turkey all those years means the security investigation will be a greater challenge than someone who lived in...

    C Sqn standing up

I stand corrected.  I forgot about the old EME capbedge.  And I see the .50 solenoid.  I was in A Sqn that year and I never heard about this experiment.  When CAT 91 rolled around I was in the big fest tent flipping burgers with Rich Lees and Wade Alexander.

US/CANADIAN ARMY DESERT ISSUE LANDMINE BOOTS NEW

These were issued in the early 90s.  They were called blast boots.  They look exactly like th tan boots except the sole is a little thicker and firmer because it is made of Kevlar.  I haven't seen them in a lot of years and I doubt that they are that effective.

I know its not a slag but those kids of questions have been known to totally derail an otherwise informative thread. That is all. Do we have any overborne trades right now?  Not sure if we do but cbt arms trades are significantly underborne right now.

    WTB: Squeeze Me

I bought a copy made by golden valley for $120.  It was ordered through either 2 or 3 RCR Kitshop.  I would suspect 3 RCR because Golden Valley is in Pembroke bit it might be 2 RCR.

    Becoming a Crew Commander

Come on RBD look around.  We are experiencing attrition at an amazing rate.  We will not have a choice in the near future and so it is a matter of narrowed selection gates and informed evaluations but it will happen.  It wasn't that long ago that the average MCpl crew commander had 5 years in. ...

OPERATIONAL DEPLOYMENT, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND PROMOTION

Not really, a wse guy is usually someone higher likes.  This gives them ammo to get him merited higher.  If they didn't like the guy the wouldn't WSE him they would just make him do the job at his present rank.
