Hello I was just wondering. Do they teach us non armed combat skills during BMQ,you know basic stuff ,basic techniques to survive in hand to hand non armed combat. While searching ,I only found that infantry take a course dealing with non armed combat but just wondering if all have to take some...

No i didnt mean quantity beats quality. I just meant that a country as big as canada should have a bigger ,more powerful army.

Oh man,what a weak army. I can't believe countries like syria and Iran have bigger armies.

When do you get kitted? Before you are sworn in?After?Or when you go to the base?Or when you pass all your tests?

When you join the reserves(part time),you train every weekend and i think i read somwhere u also train a night every week.Anyway,for the summer,are you obliged to work with the reserves,or can you leave the country to your home or whatever? Thanks

and so when u finish basic training,u will get the cadpat uniform? wouldnt it be nicer if all members wore one uniform?

How come i see some people wearing the old pure olive green uniform like the one the americans wore in vietnam,and some wearing the new one which is i believe much better.

Are those guys regular or reserve? Or it doesnt really make a difference. And the basic training is 10 weeks, but what if its in fall and part time. I couldnt find a detailed schedule of basic training  part time in fall. Thank you

So basically that basic training we just saw on this video,is  for 1 month ? And say someone had his basic training in early summer,when he's done with his basic training,is he directly taken somewhere to  start another course? If yes,can he ask permission not to do the course later bec he wants...
