Sounds like you just have to be patient. In the end it will be rewarding. I continue to wait patiently for my security check to finish, I keep the phone close by for when my file manager calls me asking for information. Of course everyones situation is different.

The Harper gov made budget cuts that have an impact on equipment purchases however most of the trades that were "now hiring" on Forces.ca are no longer saying "now hiring" - could be a coincidence, or it could be the budget cuts.

I joined to pay a debt back to society but either way speak with a recruiter or file manage if you have questions on pay scale
