I'm going for my TIM day in Hamilton on December 2nd, 2008 and was wondering if all goes well what are my chances really? Are they strict on who they take in? I heard that the next course starts in January, too.
It'd be nice to hear some info. on all this because the web doesn't have much on...
I don't think just because he's 16 he's going co-op. I'm currently 16 (2008) and I'm not going through co-op, not sure how things will play out, though

that's really neat. I'm going for my TIM day in Hamilton around Dec. 2nd, just have to confirm the date now. If all goes well I'll be a reservist of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment. Woo!

Hey, was just wondering on ear protection. I hear that it gets loud and that there are earplugs that could cancel out the louder noises and keep lower noises coming through. Do they work, or does it lower the ability to hear a bit? Any recommendations?

I recently went down to my local reserve unit (Lincoln and Welland) and finally got the ball rolling. I went in all intimidated by everyone in uniform but I finally got talking to a recruiter and he said he would help me out as much as possible to get me in for the next BMQ...

me personally, i think we should stay to show that Canada has some guts, but of course it's going to be no to many dead as much as I hate a dead comarade i believe we should stay and help.
