Not as far as I've heard at least. The first selection board sat last week, and offers will begin to come out this week, and through to the end of the month, when another board will sit, repeating the process. Again, this is not AFAIK, its As Far As I've Heard (from the CFRC).

I'm applying for the Regular Force with what is called a "Component Transfer", and I am seeking to accomplish this via the Regular Officer Training Plan (if they'll have me!). I believe that the BIOQ is the same for both Regular and Reserve Force officers - but I may be mistaken there.

They will inform you if an offer of employment is not forth-coming. Now, I'm also just an applicant - but from my understanding, the offers will begin to appear early February, and continue coming out for the entire month. Along with these offers will be some "not great news" calls, again...

Chalk up another INT O applicant over here.  I'm starting to get a bit nervous about the number of applicants for the positions.  I know there are 10 this year, and I've only counted 5 max on here - but what about all the poor souls who aren't fortunate enough to know about army.ca? I keep...

Does this mean ROTP offers are already making their way out - or are these seperate?

From my limited experience, I don't think it does either - but it just struck me that people were saying unless you were afraid of your leaders, they weren't doing their jobs. The new CF is also an a lot more enlightened CF in many, many ways.

Sorry Vern - wasn't trying to spin anything. People were explicitly saying that they used to be afraid of walking by someone of a higher rank. I think there is a distinct difference between me putting a spin on the thread, and me observing a trend in posting.

It seems to me that a lot of people here are equating "fear" of a rank (and any possible repercussions associated with it) to "respect" of a rank. Is that the kind of setting soldiers should operate in?  Fear of their leaders?
