    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

Question of interest: Would the confusion simply have been caused by your addition of pilot, which was added much after your initial merit listing? Or have you yet to complete ACS? Either way glad to hear things were sorted out :)

Most Canadians can't identify the war during which Canadians fought at Vimy

You just did what you complained about. He clearly answered this question and what he said is accurate. Remembering the past is never a waste. The past shows us where we came from and is a key part of who we are today. The past also tells us what has and has not worked. Everyone here...

What's the dumbest thing you heard said today?

On a 747: Is the plane going to land soon? I really need to use the washroom.

Most Canadians can't identify the war during which Canadians fought at Vimy

I find this quite interesting [and yes very sad] hearing about the lack of Canadian History. I am a 2011 graduate from High School; at my high school (Ontario) Canadian History was and still is a course that is mandatory for graduation. We also did not focus on the "Discovering America" type...

Officer occupations – Which one should I choose?

This sounds to be more related to those who are adding trades after having already been merit listed in another. Through my experience as an applicant having additional occupations added BEFORE completing the interview and medical would not slow down the process as the interview for both is done...

Anything they require from you for the application you would have received in your initial email or your continuing contact.

Can I have an application open for both reserves and regular force?

Excellent, good luck with your application!:)

Can I have an application open for both reserves and regular force?

This I would recommend to discuss with your recruiter. Depending on their particular process they may have a different answer than us:)

Can I have an application open for both reserves and regular force?

Either way you will be waiting - as you already have seen - so why not wait for your end goal?

Gun Detachment 2 I/C course (Arty)

 Please stop asking questions like this. If something is hard: work harder, end of story. It is quite tiresome that people in my generation - "kids" - help to give all of us the title of lazy, ignorant, etcetera and add fuel to the "kids these days" statement. PS: This is to...

Can I have an application open for both reserves and regular force?

No, you are only able to have one application for one entry plan at any one time. Personally, if I were you I would just apply to Reg Force. If that is your end goal: apply and if you want to return to the civilian world after your initial contract do so. Once you get into the reserves and...

Officer occupations – Which one should I choose?

Correct. Originally applicants were unable to re-access the page at all. I was told it is a glitch when you are able to see it but it seems more applicants have been able to access as oppose to less recently :dunno: Edit to add: I was told the above by a recruiter and an MCC.

Officer occupations – Which one should I choose?

Ignore this page. Once you submit the application it means nothing (i.e. No information is ever added...at least not correctly if it is).

My pleasure for sure! Oh really? That is very interesting. Perhaps DAA could chime in on this? :)

Marks / Grades: School / GED or PLAR [MERGED]

I do not have the "form" you seek but I can quench your confusion though. The requirements on Forces.ca are the bare minimum for every trade (technically the "exact requirements" ...just the lowest required). This means that even if you have have "more" than what is online you may still only be...
