As I stated earlier unless the person above had answered the door with their weapon drawn it's unlikely that they would have been able to react quickly enough to draw their weapon as well as get rounds on target before they were attacked. I know we all like to think that we would shoot like...
Look for the most part the. CF is very bull shitty about non-issued kit. If you're lucky you'll find yourself in a unit that's max flex when it comes to this but don't bank on it. Keep the nonissue purchases to a minimum until you've got some time in and know whAt the your units tolerance is.

On the other hand I used to be against CCW permits until my neighbor was randomly stabbed to death when he opened the door to some mental case who turned around and then tried to cave in the head of a 17 year old babysitter a few...
Just tried to order a rifle from Wolverine.com and apparently you have to be a member of a gun club before they'll sell you a restricted weapon. I realize that I had to join a gun club to shoot it regardless but I have been procrastinating doing this so it seems that I will have to get off of my...
No intention on my part to be condescending I was just suggesting that I find it sad the U.S has deteriorated to the point that people would feel the need to be armed to carry out everyday life.
I must concede the point regarding samples. I sell booze for a living now and rarely find myself...
I personally find it sad that you need to walk around armed to make you feel safe.
We all like the idea of being able to carry firearms because most of us on here feel that we are competent when it comes to handling them. The problem is IMO is that the average person isn't competent and there...
Just finished reading "Lone Survivor". As usual it had a fair bit of detail that was left out in the movie. Nevertheless it was a good read with the exception of the first chapter which was a little bit too American for me.
IMO the Canadian armour system is a little OTT. The shoulder brassards, neck, and groin protection restrict movement too much for my liking.
In the Falklands war the Brits from my understanding wore no body armour. I can't imagine how my predecessors from 2 & 3 Para would've faired tabbing...
Check out this Walt twat... Former SAS sergeant, Para, Fusilier! Where do these bell ends get the nerve? Cracking uniform on him too. Perhaps the CC does it's job here in Canada because I've never seen anything like these last two morons here on Remembrance Day.
Hey I'm looking into ordering a Daniels Defence rifle through Wolverine.com and I'm just wondering if anyone here has any experience with this and can tell me what the turn around time is (assuming the rifle I want is in stock)?
Furthermore do I need to have a membership at a gun club prior to...

I recently received all of my deceased paternal grandfathers medals in the mail from the MOD. The process was a little long and drawn out because of the fact that he had never received them, so they had to do a complete back ground check of his service history to determine his entitlements.
If...
For anyone on here looking to do the same as above I've just received the medals from the MOD. The process from flash to bang has taken approximately one year. This is probably the worst case scenario in terms of time lines because my grandfather didn't have a medals card, they had to do a full...
So should I be able to get a firearms retailer to order any of these manufacturers for me? Or will a retailer only deal in certain brands? Again I apologize for my ignorance on this subject but this is my first time purchasing a firearm.
