    Porter Airlines?

The downtown location is a lot easier, especially if you live in the east end like I do, driving all the way to Pearson is a pain...

    Porter Airlines?

I flew home on Porter for the first time, and was quite happy with them. The price was comparable (or better) than Air Canada or Westjet, the plane was quiet and had tons of legroom (not something I often see on a plane being 6'3") and most importantly, free beer in flight ;)

    Going back to St Jean

We had a nickname for the obstacle course: "Career Ender." We lost one from our platoon to a broken wrist and almost lost another to head trauma, you have to be real careful on the damn thing, or it will destroy you...  >:D

    Application Process Samples [2003 - 2018]

I believe it has more to do with how many people can be trained at a time than with how many soldiers are in the army.

Has he got a point, is it worth the hassle?

Maybe that is why he has spent $90,000 on legal fees, he had to get all the documents translated into French  ::)

Has he got a point, is it worth the hassle?

He spent $90,000 fighting a $54 ticket because it wasn't in French? What a waste, I would have just paid the ticket... As far as I know Alberta is an 'English' province, for lack of a better term, so why would the ticket be in French?

WHEN IS the next Naval Officer Assessment Board (NOAB) ?

You should find out within the next week or two, as the next board is only a month away. But don't worry if you don't, I didn't hear from them until the wednesday when I was supposed to leave on the sunday. Ours was a special case though, as they don't usually do a board in July, so you guys...

FRAUD - Google Hiring Americans And Canadians To Work From Home

Anything where you have to pay to make money should always be looked at with suspicion. You know what they say: if it sounds too good to be true... it probably is.

I'm not even going to try to figure those out, I'm already getting a headache... All I can say is this: the American legal system sure is a piece of work!

"Kurdish music star may sue OPP after dramatic highway arrest"

My comment was likewise deleted, it wasn't even up 5 minutes. So much for freedom of speech.... If these guys hate Canada so much, why don't they just leave? I also flagged this video as inappropriate as the poster will not allow discussion on it, and only allows hate messages about Canada, so...

    Engineering Pay Scale and Acceptance

It says at the bottom of the document: A= ROTP, which is Regular Officer Training Program, which would be people going to RMC for example. B= OCTP-NFS, which I believe stands for Officer Cadet Training Program (ie BMOQ) No Former Service, so according to that pay scale that would be your pay...

    Signing Bonus - Engineering Officers

At NOAB I asked specifically about signing bonuses, they said probably not again until 2011, some sort of spending freeze or something. Oh well, I'm still gonna do it  :salute:
