Recruiting Posters, Slogans and Commercials [Merged]

Basically, it looks like your in some sort of video game and then it advances to a ridiculously easy question and asks "Do you have what it takes to be in the Canadian Forces? Try this skill testing question: What is 12 x 8? Is it A, B, C or D and then there's a 30 second timer for you to think...

Has anyone seen the new CF ad? It makes the CF look like it's a damn video game. Ridiculous, it doesn't look like it's online anywhere yet.

Alleged Institutional Racism/solutions in CAF (merged)

I haven't seen any racism in the CF. But then again I come from the most culturally diverse unit in Canada (Caucasian is the minority). The only racism I have ever witnessed from possible members of the CF are on these boards where people can say things anonymously.

Milcot isn't a pre-req for DP1. LSVW, DDC and SB course are. However, you can be exempt from LSVW, DDC and SB if your unit says it was impossible for you to do the course before the summer. Ex) Bob joins in September. He does BMQ and SQ (BMQ-L) on the weekends all the way up to the summer...

Cutting the CF/DND HQ bloat - Excess CF Sr Leadership, Public Servants and Contractors

I really think that HQ units need to be slimmed. Example: Up until last year there was a HQ that had only ONE reserve unit under it. (The HQ is now disbanded). Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

Name This Photo!!! - The AFV Recognition Thread

Correct, the tank is in fact the Poniatowski G1 P.

Name This Photo!!! - The AFV Recognition Thread

Nope: This isn't the Char G1 although it looks very similar to the Char G1, the turret and hull are different. If you've found a site that labels it at Char G1 they are incorrect. EDIT: In reality it's Larry's turn for the floor but there's no harm in answering the last tank anyways.

Ground spike under a tire.... (Unsafe grounding practices)

Had an argument recently about ground spike needing to be grounded. Needless to say they just setup the generator on dry pavement and put the ground spike underneath the tire.

Renault FT-17 in Canadian Military Service During WW1?

Question is in the title can anyone provide information if this tank was in Canadian military service overseas? I know it was used as a training tank in WW2 but I am looking for concrete evidence. People on the retardation website of wikipedia are saying Canada never used it ever despite...

Guess what this one is: I'll be mildly surprised if people get this fast without some research.

    Iran Super Thread- Merged

I think this whole argument is just two people arguing about two completely different perspectives: CDN Aviator says they are a threat because they can do damage to Israel and her people. (I agree) willellis thinks they are not a threat because they cannot wipe out Israel with a single strike...

A Salute to the Canadian Army - U.S. Army Tribute Film

Did twenty minutes of search and couldn't find this video on the site so I thought I would share it. I found it on youtube. It's a salute to the Canadian army by the U.S. Army by "The Big Picture". The film was made somwhere between 1950 and 1970 is my uneduated guess on film. Can't be too new...
