To expand on sarahsmom's thread...
The CFAT percentile/cut of scores are Protected B information and will never be posted online.
In addition it is based on percentile, what that means is that you may score high in your CFAT percentile this year - however that exact same raw score next year...
Good Day, "Selected" means just what you think it does - you've been selected to join the CAF. Keep in mind that this is a time period where staff are on vacation, so what happens is that you've been selected by the Selections Board at CFRG HQ. From there you offer has be entered into the...
All timelines are fluid right now. Just be patient; offers are happening but they're happening on a priority basis and as per normal the competition is still competitive - so just because you're on the competition list doesn't necessarily mean that you will receive an offer.
Pssssst - when replying to threads look at the posting date. Not only is this post over 7 months old but it's labelled "DEO 20/21 Intake Numbers" - we're now in FY 21/22.
But on another note, welcome to the forum.
The "online" that the previous poster mentions is only available on the DWAN. You can send an email to [email protected] and ask for the CT Application form.
george9315 - please note that if your application is in an area where the schools are shut down it means that CFRC is at minimum staffing - this means that time lines are taking longer than normal. As stated by Pilot, following up with your recruiter every 3-4 weeks (I wouldn't do every 2) to...
Hello Mcbeef01,
The percentile required is contained on the CFAT test sheet which is a Protected B document which means it cannot be posted on this forum.
Just to let you know the SIP table for both off the street applicants and CT/OT are controlled by DPGR and are a "working table" (especially during COVID) - honestly your best bet is to follow up with your CT Broker and ask or the numbers for this year.
They are available on the DPGR 5...
Also there should be 5 blank spaces between your last para (3) and your signature block. Then there are no spaces between name, rank, position

Hello,
Just to clarify "this year" in recruiting is still last year. Recruiting works off of the government fiscal year - so a recruiting year is 1 April to 31 March. The "new year" in recruiting starts 1 April 2021.
Please note that the CFRC's being opened / closed are in conjunction with the provincial and regional directions of the particular CFRC.
As long as Toronto is a "grey" zone or as long as the province is in a lock down then recruiting activities will be impacted at that particular CFRC.
Nope it isn't the same thing.
Original Wording:
50%/year to a yearly max of $2000 for 4 years
Class A Reservist (part-time military member) who is going to school full time will utilize the $8,000 as their yearly costs normally exceed $4000/year
Class B Reservist (full-time military member)...
This is not a yes/no response.
Part of joining the military includes a criminal record name check/credit check. These are used to determine whether a person might be subject to outside pressures that could reflect on the degree of trust of the individual joining. If adverse conditions are...
They've actually changed the policy for PRes members.
When it came it out it was "50% of costs up to $2,000/year for up to 4 years" then a bunch of Class B reservists put grievances in and it's been revamped to be 50% of costs up to to $2,000/year to a career maximum of $8,000.
It took me...
We all know how military members loooove change ;-)
In all seriousness I've taken a few hours to get familiar with the new set-up; I'm still learning my way but overall it looks great.
Disclaimer: This post is my personal opinion.
ROTP - CT files are handled through CFRC/CFRG so it's a bit different than a normal CT/OT. But it is doable; I know of many PRes individuals who decided to go ROTP from the Army Reserve. Is it a guarantee? Nope, but then again nothing really is...
