Keep in mind that when you want to certify anything for human transportation, the cost goes up dramatically because the reliability standards are much, much greater.
Or, hear me out, the RCAF focuses it efforts on Combat Readiness and Combat Capability, instead.

Oh right. This is the Provincial Govt (BC) that decided it would throw a hissy fit and try to unilaterally ban the transportation of petroleum products across BC and subsequent export from it’s ports. Thus blocking inter-provincial trade, contrary to the Consitution.
