Well, I'm suggesting the CIC would function better and their relationship with the rest of the CAF would be better if the majority of them were not commissioned officers. There are more than a few people who have similar opinions.

Except for the fact that most Cadets are advised to never admit that they were ever a cadet once they join the CAF.

This would not effect non-CIC Coats. There could be allowances given for those with prior service to continue to wear the uniform. That being said, I really have a hard time believing that about half the CIC have prior military service.

There definately are, and the people in these pictures should definitely have the CAF suggests as career for them. But at the same time there are also a lot of Cadets that really don't look very professional.

I mean, they don't have to be officers to be subject to the CSD, they could be transformed into something similar to the Canadian Rangers.
