    Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

I said it before and I will repeat myself. Many of you here defended Trudeau almost to the end. We all acknowledge he was a shit show. Some here defended Jagmeet as "Kingmaker" when in fact he destroyed the NDP trying to prop up the Liberals. Yvess Blanchett is still in my mind, the most...

    Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Hey @Good2Golf Isn't awesome, how a year and a half into Carney's mandate we have record level food bank usage, soaring deficit (and debt), still losing jobs, no significant (key word) new trade deals with someone outside the USA (It will be hard to displace $408 Billion export), Provincial...

Well since your taking a shot at me and trying to rile me, noted. DS will probably cool my jets. If you believe Carney is acting with integrity for this nation, your right out to lunch. AT this point, I am convinced he threw the trade deal away for political polling gain (go ahead call me a far...

That "3.3%" growth is based on the .08% growth in the second quarter of 2026, and is the projected annualized growth IF this growth continues. We haven't felt the effects of Trump's tariffs yet. So what if John Ivison is bureau chief of Ottawa NP? He has been correct and incorrect several...

CAN-USA Tariff Strife (split from various pol threads)

This gets interesting. Brian Lilley (Toronto Sun) points out that the Orange Man down south, also needs media distraction. Apparently his massive debt is really not going well with his own people. So having a spat with Canada provides a distraction. Brian also offers up some other insights...

    Trump administration 2024-2028

Personally, don't care. Its their country and they suffer the consequences. Especially when they mostly check paper work for "food safety" (I had to look it up) Up here, I have worked at one federally inspected meat plant and 2 provincial (Ontario) abattoirs, I have seen first hand both sides...

Originally it was mentioned "heavy metals" and that can be any number of real or "cop out" reasons But a potent antibiotic is narly. Argentina is a big beef producer too.

That is correct. It is a very potent antibiotic. Any biotics that are allowed to be used on animals have a mandatory withdrawal period. So cattle you give them injections for an infection (using an antibiotic) there is a 90 day withdrawal period before your allowed to slaughter for food.
