I just got confirmation of transfer process to Comm Rsch in Reg F. Will be doing my interview soon. Though I don't know that much about signalling, electronics, and computers, I'm going to try my best to show them that I'm willing to learn everything they throw at me.

I've met couple guys that bullshit about being in the forces (wearing Candian Army t shirts that they or their brother bought at the canex but not being able to tell me anything about basic, units, regiments, what they do). It was pretty pathetic and really got on my nerves.

About BMQ, I confirmed with the instructors, chief clerk of unit, and CFRC Toronto recruiter that my BMQ qualification will be counted as Reg F and I won't have to do it again if I happen to switch over (which I am  ;) ) But I did hear that from now on, naval reservists will do "fleet schools"...

I'm naval reservist currently going through process of CT-OT to Reg F armoured soldier. I don't have my driver's license. I know that it's not required for DND 404 but would you suggest that I get the license or does it not matter? cheers,  :salute:
