Why join the army when you could have 3 hots and a cot, plus showers and a beer machine that travels wherever you go!  Go Navy  ;D  Seriously.   But if you really want to join the army, definately wait for the trade you really want.  Been there, done that......it can make life miserable doing...

  Well TN...we work in the same shop, so I know what you mean in most of your statements.....but for the most part, yes...in our section it is a Monday - Friday type of job.  Once in a while we get a weekend tasking or something.  It's the reality.  Did you forget last year in Heavy equipment...

  Yeppers...I did see it happen TN2IC......and it seriously was sh*t behavior for no reason.  We all have rules and regulations to go by, and if you are returning a veh to transport after using it...yes, you gotta hang around for a few minutes while we make sure you didn't smash the hell out...

...oh it's fine, as long as you go  before 2am.  After that the drunks come out of the bars.  I actually have a family member that works at King of Donair and we take the kids there all the time for a slice......during the day of course.

Man oh man....that place is packed with drunk a$$holes stuffing their faces with donairs and looking for fights.  Avoid it like the plague.

  Well I must admit, you seem to have the right attitude about it all.  One piece of advice I'd give you is if you can, keep your trade choices in the same element.  I've seen it time and time again where guys end up in the navy( say 3rd choice for example), but what they really wanted was air...

    Gotta say I'm surprised they're giving you another try.  So you picked two navy trades and one airforce trade.  What if you are sitting on a ship stuck in front of a screen for hours on end wishing you were in an air traffic tower??  Will you VR again?
