“Down” to 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum inside a quota isn’t “best treatment of any major exporter to [the U.S.]…” That would have been 10 to 15% like Japan, UK, Europe…even the penguins were treated better.

Who knows…these may still be on the menu? Counter-tariffs, dollar-for-dollar could include export tariffs on things that the U.S. “doesn't need.” Federal rebates to the exporter upon collection of the export tariffs by CBSA. Maybe even a smattering of Treasuries sell off…
