Good luck getting her through the honking death squad that patrols that pond ceaselessly…and mind your shoes. 🪿🪿 💩

I think that Davie GLAM earlier upthread is a great option if ice strengthened. 3-4 of them would be useful for landing forces/equipment up North as well as spelling off JSS in the winter months.

I like that you are predicting the end of 10 current states here. 😉

Bah. The only thing this Sens team has in common with Ott teams of old is Alfredsson being a part of the picture (and if you were gonna bring something from then back, he is definitely the best thing). For me, it all depends on Brady and Ullmark. If Tkatchuk comes out of the gate a more...

I was with you up until WPG/MTL final. I’ll need that to be Jets/Sens to see The Cup rolling down Elgin this spring. 🏆

Love his YouTube channel. Very enthusiastic guy who presents his tours in a relatable and engaging way.

Shouting “Buy, buy, buy” from the rooftops while orchestrating a chaos in the stock markets worse than giving cocaine to chinchillas…

I would expect a new order would address that kind of sheer dumbassery, if possible, or is that a standard thing on all Damen patrol vessels?

I’ve been wondering what the issue is with the HERO class. I believe the USCG Sentinel class is a variant of the same design and they keep ordering more of them (almost 70 now) based on their success. Is the big issue construction or design related? It seems like the size and capabilities would...

One big “mostly” happy family!! 😂

This is exactly the reason I recently put FB to the curb. It’s gonna help my mental state, but play hell with my ability to extend timely birthday wishes…

Maybe the first 2-4 hulls built in SK, then fitted out here, but with some kind of further partnership between one of our current yards and Hyundai, for instance, to build the rest here. It would be sweet to see that included in a whole pitch from SK that already has tanks, artillery, missile...

Hostile existential threat on their respective borders. We have 3 oceans and a “allied” superpower as a buffer between similar threats. So, we romanced the pug while the world turned and failed to recognize our own existential threats might be right on our doorstep. If, IF, we come out the other...

I don’t think we could take it as a given that we’d be given a vote in this scenario…

I spend more time than I thought I ever would trying to imagine what Austrians thought leading up to the Anschluss. I imagine the debates and conversations would not have been much different than the ones we have been having on these threads. It’s a sobering thought…

New word for me to try and work into casual conversations today!! Smoothbrain!!! 😂❤️❤️😂

I’m torn between hitting the insightful or humorous button for this post…
