Well what I was eluding to is building an airstrip down at 427, a permenant tarmac, so that deploying units did not have to drive the 1+ hour to Ottawa airport. Seeing as how pers are always leaving from Petawawa for training exercises all over the country and deployments all over the world it...
They should have expanded 427 Tac Hel Sqn capabilities and infrastructures in Petawawa, to build a runway able to land a C130 or comparable aircraft which could be used by both 2 Bde, and CANSOF for quick deployment.
Also, what are the training facilities like in Trenton, outside of whatever...
Regardless of how long it is or how much you actually learn, when you get to your unit, you will get all the extra training you did not receive on recruiting training at your unit. And you will get refresher training every year, or how ever long it has to be refreshed. You will shoot your PWTs...
NRTD is the mounting unit for the reg force BMQ crses run through CFB Borden.

Coffee itself is not bad for you. Chalked full of creamers and sugar though, yeah it's not great for you. Desserts like twinkies and Joe Louis' are chalked full of fats, not all that great for you. In moderation I guess anything is acceptable. But it appears that at least a sizable portion of...
No need for clerks? I like getting paid on time thank you very much. Your idea works well in CANADA. But it creates a bit of an issue when civilian Joe Blow does not want to put the hours to get the job done. Not to mention when out on ops it is a bit of an OPSEC issue to have civilians...
Greco's is still in Pet. It's in the same building as Pronto's (and I think there is a laundry mat there too). It's at the very back of the convenience store part.
The tail end of 2011 sounds about right for the 2RCR battlegroup to depart.
However, 3-08 has yet to depart and then 1-10 has to gear up, so it's a ways off yet still.
