I was on this forum about 10 years ago or so, since then I have completed my RN and have been working as a RN for about 6 years or so. I am also one semester away from completing my MBA. Having said that, I've just applied for the HCA(Regular) career with the CF. I don't think age is a...
Hello,
How does NO(reserve) work? I am just curious since my civie job is rotational shifts. Would I still be expected to take time off from my civie job to complete BMOQ etc or how does it work?
Thank you

in regards to your questions:
yes I do know it's a fast time..since you guys know a lot about running..why don't u dig it up and check the 02 nationals track/field outdoor championships..i lost the race to jeff scheibler the canadian champion at that time.
Rcac I am full of as...
well it depends guys..for some push ups are easy.for me running is easy..cos i've been doin it for over 10 yrs now..long distance running and x-country running is what i've done all my life...now push ups might seem easier to you but not to me.

My 2 cents worth:
Apart from failing my ACS in Trenton for Pilot I also failed my PT test because of push ups. I did 16 push ups instead of 19. Now lets say I did pass the ACS and everything else was good, CF would've refused me few months back because I failed the PT test even though i can run...
I gotta question to all the gents and ladies here.
In your application if you put down 3 MOC options...how does it work..u get considered for only your first choice or u get offers for both second and third as well
Thanks
Thank You.
So, basically what you're saying is that there is a good chance of getting an invite to goto NOAB. And since Iam starting my university this fall. I am not sure if they'd want you to take a week off for NOAB's. Those who have gone to universities can concurr with me on...
Thanks again fellows for all the input.
Quick question to the recruiters and those that have just gone through the process of MARS acceptance. I have submitted all the forms etc. Now apart from physical, medical and an interview..is there anything else remaining before an offer is made?
Not sure...
Awright guys. Application is in now. I have applied for ROTP MARS Officer. And amazingly the recruiter didn't know anything about ROTP doing NOAB.
Thanks for all the help.
Armymedic thanks for the info but when I searched I couldn't find any info on BSc Geography being accepted for ROTP HCA. And I couldn't find anywhere about the need/shortage for HCA's within CF.
Thanks
Hello
I called my recruiting centre to inquire about HCA officer trade and they told me that I can apply as a ROTP HCA officer even if I am doing my BSc in Geography. Is that true? I thought you needed BA or BCom according to the website.
Also, is there a need/shortage of Health Care...
Folks,
Thanks again for all the valuable info on MARS trade.
Quick question for those who know this.
Lets say you get accepted as ROTP MARS officer and you clear your Basic and SLT. But you don't make it past MARS I or II. Then what happens. Do they just let you go even though they're paying or...
Quick question to all in Navy or any recruiters here.
Is there shortage for MARS officers or it's a misconception. I've read most of the posts here and it seems like chances of gettng hired on as a Navy officer are pretty good.
any thoughts?
"it would also depend on how you did on the air crew selection".
I don't get it. What do you mean my interview will depend on how I did on my ACS. I thought even if you fail your Air Crew Selection, your future applications would not be affected by it............confused.....
Sorry another quick bit of info. The reason I asked questions about interview etc cos in my Pilot interview I was asked why I wanted to be a pilot and of course my answer couldn't be something where I just woke up and wanted to be a pilot. Plus I am sure with my MARS interview at the CFRC, my...
