Hi folks, I'm looking for a complete 64 Pattern Rucksack, or just the frame.  Thanks!  :salute:

I got the ATC-2000 while I was in Shilo on tasking, it's not too bad of a camera.  Stills and video in low light tend to get grainy and have a Vietnam-era movie type look (which could be a plus I guess for some).  Takes a bit of fuddling around with though to ensure you're not videotaping the...

Hi guys, I was just wondering, and this may sound weird, but... Any of you guys have any diagrams on how to properly lace the DEU safety boots?  I've only worn my DEU's once, and I did it ONCE copying someone else's (don't think it was even correct), and now I don't remember how to do it. ...

And when I said did anyone ever dive on one, I didn't mean anyone here (hopefully).  Meaning if anyone ever heard of it happening.  Morbid curiosity, and no I'm not going to try it myself and tell you all what happened.

You know I'm actually curious, on the topic of T-Flashes, did anyone ever "dive" on one, either out of stupidity, reckless heroism, or other reasons?

Can't find a phone number for them, tried replying to an e-mail from them once, and tried the online "Contact us" form several times.  Anyone here from 1PPCLI or know what's up?  By the way, if I should make a new thread for this, please let me know.

Hey, anyone know what's up with the PPCLI kit shop?  Been a few months since I placed an order, got a confirmation e-mail but no responses to inquiries since then, and no stuff :(  They closed down for now or something?

Might be a bit late in replying but no, don't get the sling.  Unless you've got a C8 with a sidemount swivel like in the picture, it doesn't really work on the C7.  I just got one from the PPCLI kitshop, haven't actually 'received' it yet but will test it out on my civy AR-15.

Doesn't get in the way at all, and yes it's on the outside, whether you shoot left or right handed.

Stuff I've gotten: FMP #4:  Love it.  Lots of little windows and pockets and stuff, majority of them are zippered or velcro'ed (safe and secure when running around).  Windows are great for quick references. Nametags are useful of course. The 3 point sling is worthless unless you've got a C8. ...

So speaking of knives, anyone else have the C5 knife?  I was issued it but it never came out of the KFS holder until I actually turned in my webbing.  Found it really difficult to open and dull as heck  :-\ As for knives...Gerber and a $19 folding knife.  All I need.  Gerber mainly for the...

Thanks :)

Err, scratch previous post, what I meant was "anywhere know where to find cheap Ilti in BC" Thanks again.

Wow, costly.  And to think I heard rumors of "beat to crap Ilti being sold for just over a grand"  ??? Anyone know if BC has any places that sell old Ilti?

So basically if I ordered an M7 off a US website to be shipped up here...shouldn't be a problem?  Thanks

I read a thread a while ago regarding people purchasing the now phased out Iltis, but the post said that the place that sells them sells pieces.  Does anyone know if there's any location that sells a whole Iltis? Thanks.

Question about bayonets, I've seen some really, really long knives in surplus stores, and I was just curious as to whether anyone knows if it's legal to ship M7/M9 bayonets bought online from the States to here? Thanks a bunch, I'm not really sure what constitutes "legal" in terms of blades.

Last year we did section attack training on the front lawn of Jericho, right beside the sidewalk of 4th Ave and people just waved, honked, and one carfull of oriental kids and seniors stopped and took pictures :P

Get used to staring at walls and writing fast Get used to working in bursts as well. Oh, last of all, get used to being able to listen to multiple conversations at once, responding to all of them and logging all of them.

I'm jealous, you guys have WHISTLES?! As for goretex, since stuff goes from East to West, Reg Force to Reserves, Combat Arms to Non Combat, some guys here still are waiting and have been for a couple years, but that's mainly for goretex boots.  Goretex gauntlets and IECS jackets are given to...
