The news release is out. Six new Global 6500s, with the first to be delivered in 2027.

There's an article today from someone who can't be quoted here, but the reference for his article is the US Federal Register. Apparently Canada has requested the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System for the River Class. This seems to finally be confirmation that the RCDs will be able to fire...
There's a new FMS case for explody things for the air force. Much of it seems to be related to Small Diameter Bombs (Increment I and II), but I'm not sure if some of the other items are separate weapons or components of the SDBs...
When you talk about 35-40% labour costs, is that just for final assembly or is that for parts production and assembly? If it's the latter, then I don't think Canada will see anywhere near that much work share. Just wanted to point out that a lot of misleading numbers can get thrown around.
According to the procurement website, we are apparently looking for warning & control to cover air and sea: Airborne Early Warning & Control (Our North, Strong and Free) - Defence Capabilities Blueprint I'm not sure if that answers your question but that's my interpretation of project description.

Not sure if you listen to the Pilot Project podcast, but they had a 3-part interview with Chris McKenna a couple of weeks ago. In part 3, he mentioned a few interesting things about the future AEW aircraft. He talked a mid-2030s target date (although I don't know if that's supposed to be IOC or...
Not sure if you've seen it already, but I noticed this RFI on the Canada Buys website. It seems like they're considering reviving something along the lines of the MUN program (at least to my untrained ears).
Hi all, This is my first post but I've been reading the forums for a long time.
It doesn't look like anyone else has posted about this yet -- on canadascombatshipteam.com there's an article about MDA's role in the project. Part way through they say: "Canada’s Combat Ship Team’s solution for CSC...
