The 5's Det commanders did have to receive and give orders for every more this year. We just did 2 moves a day....one morning and one evening or night move. We did some set ups in the Gore as well as an area across from the museum (near gore), the sand pit, etc. There was apparently longer...

My overall impression was good. I think most Det's got along quite well and it probably couldn't have run anymore smoothly since this was the first time the 3's & 5's were run together. Basically the way it went was: Operator A: (Ql 5) Det commander. Logs, set up radios, etc Operator B: (Ql 3)...

Atleast we don't have a guy on our course who walks around making firetruck sounds.....either way we are done our grad parade tommorow. Have fun with your inspections  >:D  ;D

I am on 0501.  Why are you flying out so early if you course doesn't start till June 6th? I guess that puts you on the 3rd serial.

From what I understand pretty good. I am taking my 3's course this summer so I haven't really looked into it yet. If you around your unit they should have a list of taskings available for you to look through. It will give you an idea of what's currently out there and what qualifications are...

Speaking from personal experience, I would say it will limit you as far as what you are permitted to do. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. I was with my unit for about 8 months prior to my bmq/sq, but was allowed to attend several weekends of training....mostly spent at base radio learning...

That is an excellent idea. We should all suggest that in as a side note on the IMP questionare. ;) They apparently actually read those things..... Another good point of showing others foods on the chart is that it can open peoples eyes to other foods that can be substituted within that food...

No problem. Basic is a course where you can feel built up since the course is so anally retentive and you don't get much time away from your coursemates...some of whom you can't stand. Turns out the guy I didn't like is likely on my 3's this summer. I can only pray they don't house us...
