What squadron will fly the RCAFs new King Air BE350 ISR+ aircraft?

What squadron will fly the RCAFs new King Air BE350 ISR+ aircraft? 8 Wing has them listed as an operational aircraft, but no squadron has claimed them. I'm going to assume 427 Squadron? If so, that's interesting that are now flying helo's and planes. Will they be configured similarly to...

Seattle is Dying- a video from Mar 2019

We've seen the dark that the far right side of political philosophies can bring us, now we are going to see the dark that the far left wing is capable of.

    CH-146 Griffon

I was able to check out a CCG Bell 412EP in near-North Ontario this summer and I noticed the instrumentation, the weather radar and many other things that were very different than how I remember the CH-146 cockpit looking. If the CCG models had a SAR hoist, would they be the superior bird for SAR?

    Bell's Invictus VS Sikorsky's Raider X

Haven't seen this thread anywhere, thought I'd start the fire... The US Army's future attack-reconnaissance helicopter has some  cool contenders. Anyone taking any bets?

    CH-146 Griffon

If the Canadian Coast Guard Bell 412EPs were equipped with a SAR hoist, would they not be a superior SAR platform than the CH-146 Griffons?

Seeking an excuse to spend Defence $$ on a Bombardier plane

What about the Raytheon Sentinel? It's a Bombardier Global Express. The RCAF is in need of a capable ISTAR aircraft. Fulfilling that role will allow us to operate more independently and I would imagine CANSOFCOM wouldn't mind using more Canadian assets.

    FWSAR (CC130H, Buffalo, C27J, V22): Status & Possibilities

Am I the only one that feels this aircraft could have been utilized in a different, more important role? This could have been used as an ISTAR aircraft of some kind, something we need and don't have (aside from the 3 King Air 350ERs). It drives me nuts that the RCAF prioritizes domestic SAR...

    Better roles for the CH-149

That would depend on a lot of hypotheticals. I'm not convinced that would be the case.

    CH-146 Griffon

Has anyone ever proposed shrinking the domestic SAR role and using some of the CH-149s as utility/transports for Army operations? We could then dedicate our CH-146 Griffons to the escort/close support role and re-designate those squadrons as such. The Canadian Coast Guard has better equipped...

    Better roles for the CH-149

As someone who does not agree that domestic SAR should be a huge focus or priority for the RCAF. I would like to hear some opinions on how the Cormorant could be utilized in more critical capacities than SAR throughout the forces. Could they be used for Army operations? It could alleviate the...
