    Application Process Samples [ 2019-present]

As I'm the coxswain of a sea cadet unit, there was some discussion about possibly pushing the enrolment date back so that I could remain in cadets until the end of the year. I asked the recruiters and they said it was not possible, so I accepted the offer and was prepared to enrol. My cadet...

    RMC/ROTP 2025-2026

I mean, I know CAF recruiting has some merch under the "FORCES Jobs" brand. I have a drawstring bag, a lanyard, and a pen from them. It's not just for those enrolling but they might have some extras laying around

The acceptances I have all require a decision by the first half of May: U of C and U of A are 1 May, and Dalhousie is 15 May.

    RMC/ROTP 2025-2026

I'm getting a little worried... RMC said applications for ROTP close on the 31st, and my interview is the 28th. I see this and I see y'all so far ahead and it feels like I'm too far behind. By deadline for ROTP do they mean the application for RMC itself or the whole forces process? Does anyone...

    RMC/ROTP 2025-2026

It might be worth it just to shoot them a quick call and ask about your status. You'll probably get the typical answer of "We'll email you when we're ready," though. For me, I did my MOST (naval version of aircrew selection) and they sent me the scheduling email for my interview almost exactly a...

    RMC/ROTP 2025-2026

What makes you think that it went badly though? Surely it can't have been that bad. As for the final processing thing, it could be (completely spitballing though I'm not sure) where they finish doing various reliability and security checks.

    Young NWO pipeline

Thanks for the reply! In terms of postings- is it pretty much just wherever the navy needs you? I'm assuming there's little choice in the matter. Do they also mix in shore postings in staff roles as well?

    Young NWO pipeline

Since I'm in sea cadets I get a decent amount of info on things from alumni and family friends, but the CFRC information I got at the time was mostly about ROTP and RMC itself, not as much about career path afterwards. I've heard of NOTC Venture and the BWK ticket, but I haven't really gotten...

    Young NWO pipeline

Hello! As I'm in the recruitment process for ROTP NWO, I was wondering what the first few years as an NWO look like after graduating RMC. What is the training pipeline for NWO itself like, and how does assignment to the fleets actually work, and how do you progress when you get there? Thanks...

Maritime Officer Selection Test ( MOST ) - merged

Hey everyone, My experience was much the same as most people have stated so far. I just thought it'd be a good topic for my first post on here since I just passed today. Here goes! The biggest thing is definitely the time crunch and just preparing yourself mentally for it. Even if you knew...
