That's the issue...I'm not in the forces. My father was in the air force...my brother used to be in the army.
So I have no access to the goods.

Yes. I am pretty sure these are std. issue gloves...not flying gloves. But the leather was strong - not calve leather soft. It's a thicker leather, short wristed glove, with a wool lining. See the photo below of the original glove and the type of lining.
