Question for folks with glasses -when getting inserts for these, do you need to take in the PD measurement(between pupils) or just the prescription?

I'll be doing full time BMQ and I was advised to bring my own PT gear along. How many sets should I bring? I've bought three pairs of field shorts/plain Ts, but I'm wondering if I need five for the full week, if laundry is done once per. Thanks much!
