Apparently during the first week of IAP at St. Jean they do a validation of the CF fitness test that was done initially to get in. My question is, do they do the step test again, or is it the shuttle test this time? Also, what if you fail one of the components? i.e. you are 2 push ups short. ...

I am slated for IAP in May. IAP is supposed to be 8 weeks long.  The dates are May 25 - July 22 which is actually 9 weeks.  Does anyone know from experience if it is actually 9 weeks when all is said and done? Also, do you normally get any leave immediately following IAP? Thank you Sandi

Thanks for the info. I am already a Nurse in the military.  (I am in the RNEP program, upgrading to my degree) I am very interested in Flight Nursing, but didn't realize it was only af 2 year go.  I thought you you make a career out of it.  Sandi

I was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about Flight Nursing?  What they do?  Difficulty/competition to get in?  Any info at all would be vary helpful! Thanks Sandi
