    Cadpat chest rigs

Well if you google "PSP 7120"(the vest mentioned in the PSP site) an go to images you can see images to the vest model number on tacticalshop.com. It looks exactly like the Tac-Vest only in OD. I do not know if that is a real picture of the vest or what, but I do know that the website is not...

Tiger Tactical / Blackhawk / Molle

I've had no problems with blackhawk when it comes to returing products with out a receipt. But as far as assault packs go if you have some money to burn the Lightfighter RAID pack is great, I picked up mine in OD an have abused/used it for the couple months now, an it has been outstanding...

Are the artillery pieces considered your colours and if so...

Probably from lack of sleep, but the standing orders struck me as an in-garrison, where you are working in the same area as the guns, an not saluting them like you would passing Infantry Colours. And out in the field as, Gunnerlove stated, they become a tool, a weapon system. Of course you...

Are the artillery pieces considered your colours and if so...

He probably means to a limit. Obviously leaning against the trails/tires just to relax there is not to be done. But say standing on them to raise a camnet off the gun or for someone to spot the director(I've seen short number ones do this) in particulary over grown positions is tolerated, also...

A few pictures from my courses and Arcon

We do not own Blackhawks, an the ones in the pictures/at ARCON were from Charlie Company, 2/224th Aviation Battalion of the Virginia National Guard (Story about it http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/lfaa_hq/arcon_04/documents/neighbours.htm).

I used QT, but it worked with Windows media player also. You may have to right click an save it to disk before you can view it.

    New Canadian artillery purchase?

Ah, makes more sense now :) What about using the same system as the Crusader was going to. A seperate vehicle with nothing but ammo. An a system that can connect the two together for reload. I have no idea how well it worked on the trials. The plus side would be rearming in an NBC enviroment...

    B Bty 1 RCHA to get UAV's

That may be true by definition, but wouldn't calling them pilots be like calling Marines, soldiers? They do almost the same job, but you might have to test out your H2H if you want to go by definition :)

    New Canadian artillery purchase?

Isn't it auto-loading? Resupply maybe a different story, someone might have to fill the racks manually, but I was under the impression it auto loaded through some mechanism.

    Magpul

Do you find it's worth it to spend the extra cash to upgrade to the Ranger plates? It's alot of extra dough to outfit 12 mags with them compared to the standard ones. They seem like they would fit better in the TV though.

    Precision Guided Artillery Munitions

Although I have read that the Copperhead has been used succesfully, and can see the benefit of a projectiles ability to do inflight corrections. I am still skeptical of the BAT/BAM stuff. I figure the idea of it came before UAVs proved there capabilities. They can travel ahead of, an stay over...

    Precision Guided Artillery Munitions

You mean like SADARM/Brilliant Anti-Armor Submunitions? Which have been tested, an admittedly are very cool, but are extremely expensive an some report say they are not capable of defeating heavy armor . I can't see are army even buying those, even if we did retain the 155s. Maybe the cheaper...

    Mortars: 51 mm, 60 mm, 81 mm, 120 mm & more

It would not be that difficult to maintain proficientcy with mortars, a few training nights an a weekend in the training year where the unit signs out the mortars from the base to train would suffice. Mortars don't require quite as much Logistics as guns do to get out an train. You know how to...

    Mortars: 51 mm, 60 mm, 81 mm, 120 mm & more

It would be easy to teach them both to Gunners. Just do the same QL3 with the C3 an learn Mortars at the home unit, after you know the basics of indirect fire you can be taught other systems quite easily. Just ensure they learn the more complex Gun system first so it's a top down approach. I...

CRTC approves Al Jazeera for Canadian viewers

Yeah I'm with Gunnar on this one. The CBC, which gets our tax money to cover news that is important to Canada, wouldn't even air the documentary of our troops in Afghanistan(which is excellnt by the way). http://www.cda-cdai.ca/Munro_%20Award/rmaspeech_pritchard.htm An if you watch the...
