1 Fd Amb Calgary 1976-79

Trying to track down former members of Evac Coy 1 Fd Amb including Matt(Pig Pen)Pearson, Murray Mackenzie(Rick)Richardson, Marc Comport, Randy McConnery and Steve Gamache for a possible reunion in Edmonton, Alberta 2004. A number of us from that era still serving including Frank Paul now RSM CFMSS, Brian Hauck CSM Topham Coy CFMSS, Geoff Hanson Sr PA CANFLTPAC, Dave Smith who‘s back with 1 Fd Amb again, Mike Nelson is in Kingston and Mike McBride is wrapping up his tour as the Group Sgt/Maj of the CF Medical Group.

Did this actually happen?  Any list of who attended?  McBride is still alive?  His 'stache must have a life support system built in   There are still some of the old 1 Fd Amb types in Calgary - saw Alvin Windley working at Home Depot a couple of years back!  Funny old world...

I can't believe this. Never thought I would see the names of guys I worked with 20 years ago here.

I used to be with 1 Field Amb Transport Section with Carl MACDONALD. I don't remember a lot of the other guys names (mostly faces) that I worked with because it was such a long time ago.

I remember PERSON - used to dress up in green long underwears, green gloves and mimic that he was spiderman hanging on doors in B-7. I also worked with Steve whne we were attached at a Scout camp in Sylvan Lake in 1978.

Hey guys.. served 1Fd Amb in 1 Evac and Amb platoon. Arrived summer 77 left summer 79, went to Ottawa on lab course. So how is everyone doing... Seeing the names, steve G. spidy, and the rest brought back some amazing memories... anyone want to share whatthey've ben doing since 79, I'd love to talk to you.. YIKES!! Did I miss the reunion in '04? Seeing these names from my past has brought back a lot of memories... some of them good I have hesitated letting my whereabouts become known as I am unsure about the CA Statute Of Limitations regarding certain actions I was involved in, but what the heck.
