Little solid info yet, but multiple reports and some initial photo/video of strikes in Tehran and elsewhere in Iran. Iranian airspace is empty of commercial. I feel pretty comfortable speculating that this is the long expected Israeli reprisal.
My WAG? Iran fired a whole lot and barely hit shit. Israel’s reprisal will probably be more limited in scale but will demonstrate to take out valuable and precise targets well into Iran. A calculated “We TOLD you. Now quit dicking around before we hit you for real!”

I’m not so sure. Both sides are being purposefully non-escalatory.
This is the “tit for tat” stage still - as @brihard said, with Israel demonstrating they can conduct precision strikes into Tehran as opposed to the barrage seen earlier this month.
Unnamed officials say that these attacks targeted a nuclear weapons research facility.
"Taleghan 2 was not part of Iran's declared nuclear program so the Iranians wouldn't be able to acknowledge the significance of the attack without admitting they violated the nuclear non-proliferation treaty."
