First question, I have been reading about Purple trades, and it is my understanding that this basically means you will be posted to what ever base (air/army/sea) regardless of what element you are... Is this correct? Is Nursing Considered Purple?

2nd Question, I Currently work for the government, I've been there about a year... I have a pension... because it is the government, am i able to have my pension transferred over? Or would that pension be null and void.

3rd, although I'm not sure if this would be my best course of action, i would like to know if it is even an option. I am currently on Maternity leave at my government position, they top up my maternity leave, meaning that i "owe" a year to pay back my maternity leave top up... Is that able to be "transferred" to the military?

I think that my best route may be to finish my maternity leave and the top up pay back, and then go from there, that would lead me to December 2009. In that time, i would defiantly have more time to work on the physical fitness part.

TIA.
Melissa

three:  There are, however, Pay implications which are explained in topics on PATA/MATA.
