I knew Meredith and Standish pretty well as they were NCOs of mine at Depot PARA right after the war. Having had no training in identifying the symptoms of combat stress, I had no idea that they were effected in this way by the war. I wonder if we're adequately prepared to look after the mental health of our troops when they get back from Afghanistan?
