Hoping for a steer here, perhaps from Michael Dorosh. Though my reading on the subject is limited, I was always of the view that the Battle of the Canal du Nord was one of the decisive battles of the Hindeburg Line. However recently, I have been encountering writing on the subject attributing the breach of the line solely to the Australians and Americans, with no mention of Canal du Nord. Am I wrong in my recollection? More importantly, is there a good source or two that would have a global view of the situation as opposed to being confined to a single national point of view?
