BMQ and Dogs

I may be going in St-Jean this summer for BMQ. I will have to get rid of my dog if I can't bring her with me. Is there a place where they would take care of my dog for the summer? (and when I am going on mission)

No, there is no base kennel.  I think you better find a new home for your dog.

Is there no one in your family that will keep your dog until you're done your training?  When you're finished you'll be posted and you can have your dog in the Q's with you or you can get outside living quarters where you can have her.  You also might consider boarding her at a small kennel where she'll get lots of attention until you can have her again.

Just a few suggestions but I hate to see people give up their pets for a temporary problem.

So, you are telling me that I could live my dog in a Bachelor in the Base?

No. Pets are not allowed in single quarters. They are allowed in base married quarters, which may also be occupied by single members if numbers of available houses exceed the demand by married members.
