Can you be recalled

I found that in the US Army you can be recalled to active service up to 6 years after your contract is complete. In Canada once your contract is complete can you ever be recalled back to active service?

"Active service" has different meanings in the Canadian and US contexts.  You may wish to be more precise in your question.

A member of the CF (Reg or P Res) who transfers to the supplementary reserve is subjet to recall.  Such recall has not occurred in the recent past.

A released member is not a CF member and thus not subject to recall.
