There‘s a new site on the web for the P.B.I. The Canadian Infantry Association has recently opened a website at <a href="http://www.ducimus.com.
The" target="_blank">www.ducimus.com.
The</a> website supports the Association in its objective: "The objective of the Association is to promote and improve the esprit-de-corps and general efficiency of the Infantry Arm of the Canadian Armed Forces and to cooperate with other arms of the service for the promotion of general efficiency."
Of note is an Infantry Discussion Forum and an open invite for articles for posting at the site and the following prize for the best article submitted by 30 April:
"You can become eligible to win a $500.00 prize by submitting a paper of between 500 and 2500 words to ducimus.com by 30 April 2000. One paper submitted will be selected by a panel of judges as the prize winner. Selection will be done not later than 31 August 2000. Judging will be entirely subjective but will consider relevance and importance of the topic to the infantry as well as persuasiveness of the argument. Papers should be submitted as HTML format file attachments to an email to [email protected]. Any paper submitted may be posted on ducimus.com at the sole discretion of the postmaster. WARNING! Any paper submitted in only one language will be translated by commercial translation software and may be mangled in translation."
You may want to bookmark this site, as it gains notice and activity it should be a good place to follow or post items of significance to the grunts and to those who appreciate the work they do in our Army.
