KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (CP) - Canadian soldiers poked, prodded and dug for 90 minutes Thursday to disarm a deadly roadside bomb, one of many such deadly devices that have killed or maimed hundreds in Afghanistan, including several from Canada.
"We're feeling pretty good about getting this out of the ground," said Cpl. Rod Davis, a combat engineer. "Everyone out here is starting to get tired of this kind of cowardly attack."
