I was released from Gagetown in 2008 for a personal reason with about a year of service in the regs. I'm now a member of a law enforcement agency and have a 'SF137' form that needs to be completed. I contacted the Garrison in Edmonton (where I currently live) and they were unsure if they could fill out my time or not. When I released, my time was paid out in a lump sum. I just need my time verified so I can be given the option to buy back my time under my current pension.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

You could try contacting the release section in Gagetown.  They may still have records there.  Or you can look at the documentation you were given on release.  Somewhere in there it should show your enrollment date and your release date.  If you were given a copy of your MPRR that will have the necessary info on it too.

I do have that information, however they want this 'SF137' signed by someone in the CF. The crew at the Garrison in Edmonton weren't sure who actually had the authority to sign the paper.
