So I started my application on Jan 10th and basically have been on the ball since then, getting everything in as fast as I could. I have my CFAT coming up March 28th (this is at the Toronto office) and am studying hard for that (my math is weak) as well as working out hard (just about to leave on a 13 k run). I do have a quick question that maybe people will be able to answer based on their own experience, how long after I write the CFAT (assuming I pass) until my medical, then until my interview? Should I be interview prepping as well? I just want to get a time frame so I can plan my employment as I am a contract worker.
That leads into another question and that is: assuming I pass all the steps and get merit listed how long on average would it take before I head off to BMOQ? I know every application is different and there are no such things as set time frames for this, so if anything I guess these questions are just idle curiosity. Still if anyone wants to share I would be happy to know.
I am applying for DEO infantry, Armour and Intel. I am not bilingual (but am studying french to get a little head start), if that helps with comparing situations.
