Hi all. Just curious, my stepson mentioned the other day that there are civilian truckers driving for the military. Just wondering where I would check into this job as a civilian, he wasn't sure. Recruiting office? Not sure if this is the right forum for this question. Thanks.

P.S. I should mention I'm in Manitoba.

I know CFB Gagetown has a number of civilian drivers but am unsure where you would look to become one of them......

Most of them are ex-military anyways.

Just to let you know there are looking for 10 MDO 6's in Edmonton. I believe they have hired several new persons, but still have vacancies.

$17.00 + an hour with the living costs in Alberta is pretty crappy.....hell it's only $34,000/yr....

As mentioned in an earlier reply that most are x-military. 20/25/30 yr Pension plus wage =
