Combat Bra? **** I want a combat Jock!

In the spirit of diversity and not wishing to be singled out in the workplace for a physical attribute that I can‘t do anything about, I demand that the Clothe the Soldier program develop a combat jock. If our female combat soldiers are to receive maternity combats and a reinforced bustier, then I think its about time that the army protect my ‘package‘ in a similar fashion.
It should provide enough support that I won‘t be uncomfortable during those long ruck marches - no chafing! To be viable into the new century, it should be ventilated, IR resistant, light weight and camouflaged in case the enemy attacks when I‘m on the ****ter. This project could have all sorts of spinoff benefits besides employing Quebecers - just think of all the potential sales to other NATO allies three more yesterday not to mention hunters, crazed michigan militias etc.
Soldiers, stand up for your rights and demand similar protection!

May I suggest that you ask for Kevlar as the material of choice?

I find the idea of a Combat Bra a bit silly. I guess that all things being equal... you gentlemen have your combat boxers, thus the combat bra. I don‘t think that I would compare it to a male jock. However, a jock is an intriguing idea.

On another clothing topic, maternity combats. Speaking as someone who has been there, this idea is completely absurd. I never once found that wearing dress CFs was a hardship or discriminatory. Looking at the combats for pregnant servicewomen, I think the CFs would be more comfortable.

As often happens with pregnant women, I suffered some swelling of the legs and ankles. I could never have worn combat boots for the last four months of my pregnancy. Without combat boots, the uniform looks very poor. I think we have all seen the look of combats with running shoes... pretty sight! Also, I didn‘t need to change dress until I was four months pregnant. Do we really need to spend the money on maternity combats for two to five months of pregnancy?

I hope that the idea of maternity combats will quickly fade away.

Um... The way this maternity combats thing is being discussed makes it sound like you aren‘t just joking here on the web page. Is this for real? Is the CF actually considering this?

I‘m trying to stay calm here...

If this is so, I think I‘ll need a therapist to explain logic to me all over again.

Think of the word "Combat". Why the **** would anyone...? I can‘t finish the question. I‘m losing it or imagining things. I‘m sure you guys must be joking.

It would be as silly as a maternity flight suit or maternity flak vest or maternity scuba gear.

Clothes have specific functions already. Let‘s not combine them:

Combat clothes, Beach clothes, Maternity clothes.

Please tell me this is a joke. I‘m getting really wound up thinking about this.

If there is a "need" for maternity combat clothing, the army doesn‘t "need" me anymore.
