Sorry for my english but I'm french. I'll pray for this Cpl and his family for his restablishment. Ciao!

Being a friend of Jeff's at 1 CER, he is the perfect example of why staying in shape is so vital today in the CF. Jeff has come a long way. Standing with the Regiment on parade to present a gift to 1 CER was something else. I admire everything he has accomplished. Chimo

Heh Perogiee,

First of all welcome to the Army.ca board!  Secondly, thanks for providing a quick SITREP on Cpl Jeff Bailey.

Is it possible for you to update us with more detail on how he is doing?  I used to work in 1 CER and am interested in following up.  Besides, there are others on this board that would appreciate the update.

Thanks, and welcome once again.

I ran into Jeff on Wednesday at the base gym.  He was heading in for some physio while Paul was heading out.  He looks great!  He still has a driver, I don't know how much longer that will be in place.  However, he is at his own house now, comes to the base a lot for physio.  Not back at work as far as I know, but that may have changed.  He was also talking to Paul about helping the injured guys who come back.  Paul has been tasked to do that, and Jeff wants to come on board.  I noticed on Wednesday that his memory still kind of fails him, but he knows who you are by looking at you and quickly recovers when he gets your name.  I remember those dark first days in Germany and when we got home to Edmonton...  I think all the three guys have angels watching over them.
Take care all.
Audra

Audra,

Thanks for the update on Jeff.  From my perspective, it sounds like he is doing very well, particularly when you consider those "dark first days in Germany".  Much appreciated.  Chimo!
