I am researching the Dieppe raid looking for information on the Royal Regiment of Canada at Puys. Anyone interested in the topic of the operation please let me know. I am in need of the names and rank of those commanding officers and enlisted men of the Royals. I do have partial information.
If you are, or have been involved in personal research about Dieppe, I am interested in hearing from you.

Lots of info about the RRC at Puys on the front page of the Toronto Star online.
Date: Sat 22 Aug 1942.
I typed "Puys" into the Star's search engine and a lot more stories about the battle come up over the years.

The Toronto Star has published many stories of veteran's and when lucky those from Dieppe. They do not list the information I posted.
Thanks for your suggestion.
David

You are welcome. I thought you might be interested in the Star photo of Major Schofield.
I faithfully attend the RCMI "Massed Military Band Spectacular" every year at Roy Thomson Hall every year. They always have exhibits set up to enjoy before the show and during intermission. There is a gentleman there every time I have attended who has a thorough Dieppe display. From what I gather, the RCMI considers him to be an expert on the subject you are interested in. But, I suppose you know that.

I did not see the publishing of Maj. Schofield of RRoC. I hadn't perused that far. There is much I have not read on the Star's page.
Please send the link.
What is the name of the chap at the RCMI.

You would have to contact RCMI and ask them.
Or, you can wait until they put on their next show at Roy Thomson Hall.
