New recruit approved for EGS training wishes to familiarize himself with the many aspects of the trade.

Could anyone recommend a website that shows through digital animation the formation of part by part – in systematic order – of a basic electrical generating system most commonly used in North America? Even a video like the ones found in ‘Poke a Dot Door’ would suffice.

CFSME is working on a software project that will walk you through all that.

You really don't need to worry too hard though.  You will be taught what you need to know, and there are a lot of challenges ahead of you before that.
